Practice Practice, Practice.
Had to take the day off from flying so I decided to practice taking 1 photo and applying HDR effects to it. The normal approach is to take either a set of 3, 5 or 7 photos and merge them together. This allows for far better information in all aspects of the photo from the darkest darks to the brightest bights. All the photos below were created using only 1 photo and then I played with the lighting and contrast along with photo filters to create surreal type effects.
